Community Accounting Plus, known as CA Plus, exists to enable good management in public benefit organisations (mainly charities and CIC's). Most people who join a group, either as a volunteer or a paid worker, do so because of a commitment they have to the aims of that organisation. People don't join because they like accounting - that would be very odd! But of course, as soon as a group starts to get organised - maybe receiving some grants and donations and employing paid staff - it needs good and effective financial management.
We believe that a well-managed organisation is more likely to deliver a more effective service to the people it exists to serve. Our job is to help them.
